One of the highlights of the year is the annual summer mission trip for our teens. We've gone to Camp Barnabas as well as to Minnesota, Arizona,  South Carolina and Montana and Ohio. In 2020, because of COVID-19, our teens chose and planned a LOCAL trip and served those in our community and those close by. In 2021, they traveled again. They left for St. Charles, LA to help with hurricane relief and to minister to those who were hurting. These trips are fun, but there's also serious work that is done. From holding VBS for area children to doing construction projects for churches and individuals, these trips offer our youth a great opportunity to serve others.

2026 EDGE MISSION TRIP - CENTRAL MISSOURI - ETHNOS360

OVERVIEW - We will be traveling to the Ethnos360 Missionary Training Center (ETC) in Central Missouri.  At the center they equip Christ-like servants of the church for global missions.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Ethnos360 offers a four semester program at their 350+ acre training site in central Missouri.  There are four threads of training:

Christian Living - Be ready to depend upon God and seek His strength.

Church Planting - Be ready to plant a thriving church among the unreached.

Culture and Language - Be ready to learn language and understand culture.

Practical Skills - Be ready to support yourself and thrive anywhere.

At Ethnos360 every aspect of training revolves around these two areas of focus.

UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS - Ethnos360 serves unreached people groups that lack access to the gospel and lack believers to evangelize their own people with the gospel. ETC prepares missionaries to work among unreached people groups and to support this effort.

CHURCH PLANTING - Conversion is only the first step. ETC seeks to plant churches that have access to God’s Word and that can establish their own pastors and elders to lead the church body into the future.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING - We will be serving ETC by doing primarily grounds projects.  This may include helping with campus beutification, landscaping, trimming, cleaning up and hauling debris, and road work.
